It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Oakley, who brought immense joy and love into our lives. Oakley passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 28, 2024, at the tender age of 4.

Born on October 9, 2019, Oakley spent his days in Morehead, KY, doing what he loved most: playing outside, eagerly awaiting treats, and savoring little bites. He had a special knack for cuddling, basking in the sun, and finding the coziest spots on the couch for his naps.

Oakley was deeply loved by his owners, Karisa Hutchinson and Alex VanHoose, and was a loyal companion to his brother, Leo. He also leaves behind his mom, Starbucks, and his uncles, Oddie and Bear. Oakley’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Oakley has been cremated, and his spirit will continue to be a part of our home and hearts. We will always remember his boundless energy, his gentle cuddles, and the warmth he brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, dear Oakley. You will be greatly missed and forever loved.
