William Henry Foss, 76, of Massillon, died at home on October 2, 2023.

Bill was born in Albany, NY to Robert and Editha (Love) Foss on July 25, 1947. Bill graduated from Glenwood High School in 1966 and retired after 26 years from Massillon Community Hospital as Safety and Security Supervisor.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda (Joe Mazzei, deceased) Shankle. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, LaVaun (Van Gunten) Foss; brother, David (Carolynne, deceased) Foss; sons, Jeff Foss and Mike (Carolyn) Foss; step-daughters: Tami (Paul) Henry, Traci Gowins and Tricia Jacobs; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Bill will be remembered for his love of cars, sports, woodworking, and especially family.

Visitation will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 14th, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Massillon. The family will host a luncheon immediately after.
