'Together Again' June C. Shankle age 87, of Canton, passed away Tuesday Sept. 6, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Canton, Ohio to the late John I. and Florence (Hardesty) Palmer. Member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Shankle in 2001; two sisters, Joyce Shackle and Doris Baker. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Palmer and Caryl Shankle; grandchildren, Kevin, Todd (Theresa) Dana (Jenny) Shankle; great-grandchildren, Jordanna, Brandon, Zachary, Nicholas, Alexis, and Alyssa; and her best friend, Rita. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery.
