Palmer Shankle (Pal) of Perry Heights passed away on 7/05/22 at the age of 77 after a brief illness at Aultman Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Canton Ohio on 1-30-1945 to the late Franklin and June Shankle. He was a 1964 graduate of Glenwood High School. After high school he proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard. After retiring from the Stark County Engineers in 2018, he was enjoying camping and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife and companion Caryl of 35 years. Also survived by his 3 sons Kevin Shankle, Todd(Theresa)Shankle, and Dana(Jenny)Shankle. His grandchildren Brandon(Kayleigh)Shankle, Jordana Shankle, Zachary Shankle, Nicholas Shankle, Alexis Shankle, and Alyssa Shankle. Also survived by Caryl's son and daughter Glen(Jen)Miller and Gayle Miller and their four children Ana, Lilly, Sophia and Emma.
